Shawn Heinrichs, a passionate cinematographer, scuba diver and marine conservationalistcollaborated with fashion photographer Kristian Schmidt to create this underwater masterpiece and raise awareness about environment and conservation. The model wrapped in beautiful colours is shown to swim and dance in the water in sync with the magnificent whale shark, the largest fish.
This year’s biggest trend focuses on contrast and its mainly in the shades of Black and White. Worn by celebrities and seen on the ramp in prints and solids, this look is completed with a hint of bright color used in make-up or accessory. For me, I prefer prints, be it geometric, conversational or floral. This trend is inspired by the look of the 50’s and takes ahead the vintage obsession we saw last year. Below are some of my personal favorite looks.

Justin Timberlake Feat Jay Z : ‘Suit and Tie’
Since JT took center stage in the 90s, slewing the music industry with his smooth grooves and good looks, few have successfully managed to follow in his award winning footsteps. Returning to our blessed airwaves with Jay-Z, for 2013’s most exciting release ‘Suit and Tie’ will be all anybody plays until new music manages to regale itself.
“My pictures are my eyes, I photograph what I see—and what I want to see.” - Mario Testino
The much famous fashion photographer has slowly and steadily dominated the way people see fashion. I personally love the way he has used the tint of color in his above photographs.
Hina Aoyama is the name of the Japanese born - Paris based, very talented artist who is behind these beautiful and unique art pieces. Made solely from paper, all she uses are just a pair of really sharp scissors and a lot of patience. Her artwork picks up these basic structures and transforms them into these dreamy lacy designs. The entire process is quite time consuming, sometimes taking as long as 6 months.
Absolute Love.
PS : I wonder how these would look as prints on the beautiful dresses, skirts and blazer. That and the fact that Black and White are really huge in vogue.
Mighty Mouse remix of Disintegration featuring Dita Von Teese.

Solange Knowles : Losing You
This song is my favorite pop culture video from last year. It showcases awkwardness beautifully, among all things high fashion. ‘The Retro’ is definitely back !
Inspiration goes as quickly as it comes, leaving no trace of emotions behind. Inspiration goes as quickly as it comes, but it is desire that holds it in between your eyes. It holds its face, so one day you can translate that into a beautiful dream you would want to chase.
For me it can all start from a Glowing Tree.

Coldplay’s Concert Film : Trailer
To be a part of a music movement, in person or in spirit, is overwhelming, not to mention empowering. A way to immortalize that movement is to create a story, in visual, for the world to keep and repeat. Screening worldwide on the 19th of November’12, this film features the iconic Bands’ moments during its tour. A first of its kind, it will include the 9 glorious years of the famous four and will cover Mylo Xyloto world tour which was seen by over 3 million people.
Absolute Love.
Coldplay : Hurts Like Heaven (Official Video)
First Frame, a glimpse of the mysterious comic titled ’Mylo Xyloto’ and bam you got my attention.Anime, of sounds, colours and revolution, the video is just as good as the song.
I will be biased as i am a die hard fan of the British Band and have all their songs memorized. This album and its name is quite unique and also is not even a word. But, through their music and energy, they have given it a whole new meaning with a very psychedelic touch and that is one of the reasons i am in love with them. Opinionated, yes. They are so damn cool.
